System Integration

System Integration is:
The progressive linking and testing of system components to merge their functional and technical characteristics into a comprehensive, interoperable system.

Or else, simply put System Integration is:
Assembling many components so they can work together as a system.

Integration Phases

System Integration requires two things: understanding and knowledge. Understanding of the customer's requirements and the knowledge of how it can be done. This in turn assumes the knowledge of the functional parameters and capabilities of every system component and how they interoperate with each other.

Fostral have experience in several system integration projects within Ireland and internationally and will be happy to assist you with your project through the following stages:

1. Requirement Assessment, a process of understanding the existing infrastructure and assessing your current and long-term requirements. This phase helps in broadly deciding the system's architecture.
2. Design and Planning, in which a system design takes shape. We provide invaluable advice on product, technology, media selection and security planning.
3. Deployment, where the system is finally put together.
4. Training, a phase of knowledge transfer. Our engineers keep your people informed on the insight gathered during the project.
